Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst is expected to work with rapper DMX on two upcoming tracks, one being earmarked for a compilation album set for release through DMX's label Bloodline, while the other is being eyed for the Soundtrack to the forthcoming film "Undisputed". In other news, Durst recently commented on the status of the band and former guitarist Wes Borland stating:
"I hear on MTV News that Wes has a new band already, damn. We wish him all the luck in the world and hope he is finally happy. LIMP BIZKIT is still in the house and we feel stronger and more inspired than ever. I really believe this search for a new guitar player is gonna uncover something truly amazing. I hope you’re as excited as we are. You learn in life to not dwell and to look at things as opportunities to excel instead of being set back. We haven’t let you down yet and have no ulterior motives. Remember, guitarists of all ages, all walks of life, boys and girls. its on!! I think you can tell we have a lot to say and a lot to release on this new album."

In a recent interview with MTV, Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst vowed to drop all of his long-standing grudges, including those with Creed frontman Scott Stapp, Slipknot, Eminem, Trent Reznor of nine inch nails, Christina Aguileria and more. His decision to do so comes as a result of the recent events in America, which have changed his outlook on life. He commented on the matter stating:
"To spend our lives disliking someone or something, or have grudges... our own world is so small? If everyone doesn't come to their senses and realize we've got to let all that go, then they're blind. They're as blind as the people who are killing us. I've had my problems with whoever I've had them with, and whoever had their problem with me or Limp Bizkit. I'm a human being, and I'm prepared to step up to that. All of my differences are gone now. I care about you being alive, and I want you to care about me being alive. Who knows what the world has to bring in the future?"
